SAT Analytical Essay Preparation

The analytical essay is the core writing tool of most college courses, therefore all college-bound students will be expected to master writing this type of document.  Our small size, allows us to coach students to a much higher level of excellence in analytical essay writing than is normally possible in a conventional school.  In addition, the Socratic curriculum is designed to provide students with far more analytical sophistication in their thought than is the norm with most students.  Again, we seek to inculcate an ambition for excellence so that students set high goals for themselves in terms of essay writing such that our average college-bound graduate writes better than do most college graduates.

All writing for college-bound students will be coached for the SAT, prior to taking official SAT exams.  That said, a rigorous and regular commitment to analytical essay writing from middle school onward will position students such that the specific stylistic predilections of SAT examiners are fairly easy to adapt to for the purpose of test score optimization.
